Udachi leaked us a new remix for one of his favorite new bands, Paragraph. Our main man's been on a roll lately, with major hype still following his Paypur release, and a brand new remix floating around for GoldSweat favorites DreSkull & Juiceboxx. LoveSweat GoldFest Weekend!

Here's what the GoldSweat crew will be doing this weekend for LovEvolution, San Francisco's world renowned electronic arts and music festival.

First, GoldSweat will be doing it dumb down at Kelly's Mission Rock. For The Love SF is the premier kick-off event with HELLA DJs and it goes ALL NIGHT! Hosted by Pottymouth Music from Chicago and headlining Green Velvet, Santiago and Bushido, James Amato, Mark Farina, Diz, Hector Morales, Icon, and GoldSweat's very own Sticky K!!! Our love of bassline stems from Drum&Bass, so you KNOW we'll be raging at the Bay Area Drum & Bass float. Their lineup all day includes the Colonel MC, GoldSweat's very own leader on the mic. I'm pretty sure The What What will be "bass-bin diving" at LovEvolutions biggest (and wildest) float! THE AFTERPARTY RAGES HARDER with Pendulum headlining with MC Verse at Club 6. Fuck them crackheads, get your face blown with BADAB!!!

This Satur-DAY is Lower Haters 3 Year Anniversary Block Party - end of summer style. Drinks, art, food, dancing, djs, beats, boogie, and of course some GoldSweat action. DJ's Romanowski (woo!), DJ Enki (Oakland Faders), and DJ Platurn (Oakland Faders) will be throwin' it down oldschool style for what looks like the perfect day to sweat some gold. Belly Up on the flier action... duh!



After you get done day-raging, continue the mahem down at Triple Crown for our monthly GoldSweat event with Sticky K. Its not a rumor, our Master Resident will be testing out some new new new new new music from his second Dubsided EP (not out yet, ssshhhh!). Captain Crunk, our dirty-south cousin from Atlanta will be in the house and he wanted to share some of that Southern Comfort by lettin' GoldSweat post one of his hottest remixes:

Saturday is looking more and more like that Midas Touch, so make sure you catch us around town all day!

PARTY LIKE US: B.Rich and Udachi MEGA POST!

B.Rich celebrated his 20-something birthday with us on Friday and lets just say San Francisco came ready to "Party Like Us". The Trouble & Bass singlet, blog roll staple, Boston-based club-step monster commanded the decks for a solid 120 minutes, with support from Richie Panic (Blow Up / Frisco Disco), the What What (GoldSweat), and DJ Winner (NoHarmNoFowl / Disco to Disco / Bang Bang SF). The GoldSweat gang was there in full effect, body twerkin' and spillin' PBR all over hotties in heels. From start to finish, the live mix is ESSENTIAL. Seriously, I haven't stopped listening to it since it melted my face Friday night. B.Rich's birthday set should come with a warning label... I'm just sayin'...

...ready for round 2?

Part two of our BASS-HEAVY mega post comes from Party Like Us / Trouble and Bass lable-mate, Udachi. Hailing from Staten Island, NY (home of the Shaolin Wu-Tang tiger style) and having JUST released the Paypur EP, GoldSweat made it a point to bring him out the Bay for some Infatuation action. Headlining with our own Sticky K and Breakdown (Josh David, LA), his mix brings the bass like nobody's bizness. But before we get into it, here's a little ditty on his latest release on the Nightshifters label:

A beast of a release, Paypur features two incredible original tracks by the duo and five stunning remixes. AC Slater states “This could easily be the biggest release of 2009. Ive been playing this in every one of my DJ sets for the past 6 months.” Garnering support from the likes of Tommie Sunshine, Fake Blood, DJ Craze, and Klever, and BBC Radio 1 Airplay on Kissy Sellouts show, it has breakthrough potential!

Paypur begins on a mellow old school tip with an 808 bounce that builds into an oscillating frenzy of a drop. The track follows an imaginary clubber on his first night out, he thinks he has the swag, but the push and pull of the track shows the subtle comedy of someone succumbing to too much “fun”, then regresses from the perfect bliss of mixed substances before hurling it up with a psychedelic whine of chest thumping bass.

Smoke Rings includes Jubilee on vocals crooning over a dub-reggae breakdown about aliens stealing her weed. The best slices in like a rip in the space-time continuum sending Jess on a chase to get the weed back. If you want to know how the story ends, the crooner gets her weed back and parties with the aliens back on Planet Rad! A happy ending indeed…

Here is the recorded mix from GoldSweat Sessions at Infatuation, San Francisco's staple midweek bang-er-rang. GoldSweat hosted the whole night, exposing visual creative 2.0, bass-heavy wobble club-step, Yao-ming appearances, drunk stairwell skiing, and entirely too much alcohol to drive home safely. Two-for-one never sounded so good, don't you think?
