Free Vodka

Just a happy hour special. More details to come.

thousand mine.

Seconds away from the end of the beginning is surreal. This year, some of us got hit hard while others were tremendously fortunate. X means ten and so the new dance is crossing forearms. Sister cities, new friends, solid chumps and moving on.

GoldSweat the 'blogspot' may function sporadically, as something we haven't decided yet, but most of the content we will publish will be in our new apartment downtown. I kinda like the gentlemen/dunce look of this website, so some of us may live vicariously through its 'we absolutely don't give a fuck' persona. Plus, its white. BellyUp dead lifts without a backbrace and I play video games standing up with my mouth closed.

All the links should still be live, so if you're using it as a reference map into our clothes, contact us. We like talking! Otherwise, enjoy everything here and at our penthouse.

Vessel Gets Dipped

Vessel brings us back full force to start winter on the bay. Last time Udachi and Breakdown teamed up with Sticky to shake the leaves off that tree. This time, Konnect and PanceParty join the fight and we're looking to do some landscaping, feel me? Two-for-one's ringside. FreeBass. Free w/rsvp (direct link)! DVAS. Join Super Best Friends Club. Sticky K. Konnect. Pance Party. Loco. Fucking Philthy. Scarlet.

GoldSweat goes goes goes...

Goldsweat is based on a commitment to un-apologetically push the newest, most engaging sounds within our reach. We aspire to maintain a Gold-Standard when it come to holding consistent and memorable events, influencing the musical landscape, and breathing new life into dance culture. Two thousand mine has been the sub-header for GoldSweat as we've adopted a slew of brand new producers, DJs, friends, and memorable events on a consistent level, spoiling us from disappointment and encouraging us to continue moving forward.

If you haven't copp'd a GoldSweat t-shirt yet, hurry up! They made their back-sweat debut at GoldSweat October with the Super Best Friends Club takeover and have been gathering pit stains since. Two options to choose from; GoldSweat's official logo on white American Apparel or AMF Blue on asphalt American Apparel. Get'em while they're hott, they won't last much longer!

*Here's Konnect and 1/3 of Pance Party showing some super excitement for the AMF Blue on Asphalt.

In equally exciting news, GoldSweat is proud to present our newest and most exciting venture into future club music: GoldSweat Baltimore. Headlining the debeut event is none other than Udachi (Trouble & Bass / Nightshifters, NYC). He's so amped on playing for GoldSweat (again!!!), he posted it on his website (HERE). Also on the bill is Krames (as in Cobra Krames you dummy!), Jackie O, Kosta, and the one like Illy Emcee. I don't know if you know yet, but we're pretty much blowing our wads one month at a time. Speaking of clean-up towels, GoldSweat goes major 3 times in November!

red-red-red-READY???

TONIGHT 10/30: GOLDSWEAT GOES ZOMBIE - TEMPLE SF (free w/rsvp to eric@rockitsciencesf.com). Konnect makes his GoldSweat sound debut, BellyUp showcases his zombie slayer skills, and Loco DJ's drunk with a mask on.

LoveSweat GoldFest Weekend!

Here's what the GoldSweat crew will be doing this weekend for LovEvolution, San Francisco's world renowned electronic arts and music festival.

First, GoldSweat will be doing it dumb down at Kelly's Mission Rock. For The Love SF is the premier kick-off event with HELLA DJs and it goes ALL NIGHT! Peep the lineup and prepare your inner raver because this shit is gonna bang. Hosted by Pottymouth Music from Chicago and headlining Green Velvet, Santiago and Bushido, James Amato, Mark Farina, Diz, Hector Morales, Icon, and GoldSweat's very own Sticky K!!! Get your tickers
HERE.

Our love of bassline stems from Drum&Bass, so you KNOW we'll be raging at the Bay Area Drum & Bass float. Their lineup all day includes the Colonel MC, GoldSweat's very own leader on the mic. I'm pretty sure The What What will be "bass-bin diving" at LovEvolutions biggest (and wildest) float! THE AFTERPARTY RAGES HARDER with Pendulum headlining with MC Verse at Club 6. Fuck them crackheads, get your face blown with BADAB!!!

...this is only the BEGINNING! More party updates coming soon!!!!!!!!!

"This LDL is going to be an emotional one, but one to go down in the books. This is Rchrd's last Light's Down Low and we're going big. This San Francisco classic will miss Rchrd but will keep pulling strong. Make sure to come and say goodbye to an era and hello to a new one.

Congorock of Fool's Gold Records is going to set it off right, this Saturday. He's blown people away worldwide and his dj skills are what put him on the map. This is going to be big, big, big. This is probably going to sell out, so get there early!

Eli Glad is joining the crew tonight, and will be getting the party started. He's graced the decks at LDL before but this time he has a very special goodbye set for his best friend in the whole world Rchrd Oh.

Sleazemore and Rchrd will also be playing some hot tunes Saturday, so get ready for a big ol' bro-down. Who knows what will happen.

Parker Day, the epic LDL photog will be capturing away at this celebration of life and change.

This is one LDL you do not want to miss."

The What What feat Colonal MC and Big Sounds

Photobucket

You kids have no fucking idea. What the fuck is The What What!?!?!?!?! Honestly, GoldSweat doesn't even know...

On the real, Big Sounds (Hardcore Porn / Yahtzee Crew) and the Colonel MC (Compression / Lower Haters) got together with some dream team ideas. The Colonel MC is known through his association with the world famous Compression Drum & Bass crew. This year, Compression hosted, alongside Pioneer and Heavy Hitter Dj SS from Formation Records,The World of Drum & Bass 10 Year Anniversary at Temple SF. I was out of town, but the crater they left under the freeway on Howard Street here in SF didn't get fixed until almost a month later (just kidding, but not really)! The Colonel MC and 2Cents (Compression Crew) put together a mix for SS that is so fucking wicked and you shouldn't really leave your CD out cause peeps be taking that shit! Not exclusive to 175bpms, The Colonel fucks with Drum and Bass, Dubstep, and that new wobble-wobble electro/wtf ever it is shit thats massive right now. Unfortunately Drum & Bass has taken a back seat to house/electro in San Francisco, at least as far as popular music played out in the city. However, GoldSweat has always had a "wifey love" for bassline, so when dubstep and that wobble wobble took off these past 2 years, we knew our ear should be to the streets... Were also waiting for Compression to start with the devestating tremors again. Compression events are Bass Ridden Nights of Madness! Little did we know these guys probly are going to be the reason San Francisco falls into the bay when the big one hits!

Here's where Big Sounds enters: this kid is One half of The Beets, Hardcore Porn and Yahtzee Crew, GoldSweat first hooked up with Big Sounds for the Special Sunday w/B.Rich (Palms Out Sounds) last month. Peep the videos from Love Fest this year and you can see both the Colonel MC and Big Sounds riding the bass like a bike.

This afternoon he sent us a mix full of wobble wobble, bass bass, disco sirens, 3rd world drum beats, and GoldSweat is proud to share with the world. You deffinetly won't want to miss The What What! Saturday night with Sticky K. And if you can't get enough of that bass, follow the Colonel to the monthly BADNB party (happening the same night as Sticky K) over at the Matador.

RICHIE PANIC AND UFO

San Francisco Drum and Bass Renegade UFO is back in the Bay and Teaming Up with Blow Up DJ Richie Panic(?). How did these two match up to form the Duo? I'm not to sure but I know they both have a profound love for Lily Allen, Whiskey and Music. Not necessarily in that order either. Word on the Dirty Streets is that they are well into working on some heavy fucking bassline insanity. If this is them just getting started then I'm sure the real ISH is upon us!! Let's face it, UFO can flip the script on anything in any genre, and Richie adds that madness we know and love him for in San Francisco!! BLOW UP is 2nd through 4th Fridays at the Rickshaw stop. The official website for the UFO + Richie Panic mutant take over... HERE!
